Introduction to Photography Workshop

August 28th 2010 1 to 4 PM
O'Dell Park Lodge upstairs.

Come and learn the terms related to photography. Aperture, exposure, shutter speed and ISO. See how they each affect the outcome of your photos.
There will be a presentation and Q & A for about the first hour then we will go out into the park in small groups to practice what we've learned.
Open to members and non-members so spread the word. Limited to 40 participants max.

If you are a more experienced member who can help to give pointers to the participants please contact Roy to sign up to help out.

" Not shooting film anymore? Is your once prized 35mm SLR sitting in a closet taking up space?

The Craft College is in need of functional 35mm auto exposure cameras. All our photo students take a course where they shoot B+W film and process it the old way. When our film cameras break down the cost of repair greatly exceeds the value of the camera. We would gratefully accept donations. If you have a pile of bodies and lenses that could be worth over $500 (actual present used value) we could also offer you an income tax receipt.
