AESTHETICA LAUNCHES THE AESTHETICA ART PRIZE!Happy New Year! I am writing from Aesthetica, the international art and culture publication. We are delighted to announce the opening of the Aesthetica Art Prize. The Aesthetica Art Prize is a celebration of excellence in art from across the world and offers an even greater opportunity for photographers to showcase their work and further their involvement in the international art world. It has developed from the Creative Works Competition, which we ran for four years. Posted by

The competition on January 24 is themed "Architectural Interiors” and we will be submitting 6 images by 6 different photographers from this competition to the CAPA club competition in February. Please email your submissions to me at rshortt@mac.com by 5 pm on Friday, January 20. They will be judged in advance of the competition night, so that we can present our selection to the members on the 24th. Lets have lots of entries for this one!in addition, you may also submit an image for the "non-judged" component of our competition evening, and we'll have lots of time for discussion! I've included some of the CAPA rules to guide your submissions: January Workshop and Field Trip

$350The lens comes with a lens hood and Tiffen 67mm haze filter, and front and rear original caps. This is a great lens for a Canon cropped sensor Digital SLR. It will fit on cameras like the Digital Rebel Xt, XTi, XS, T3i, 40D, 50D, 60D, 7D, and there are probably a few more models. The lens is fast - a large 2.8 aperture, and has a convenient standard zoom range. The range gives the equivalent field of view as a 28-80mm lens on a full frame system. The devices can be attached by either a cable or in the hot shoe on each unit. Think Strobist, think off camera flash, think creativity! Call or text Andre at 999-2249.
